Canon XF405 Hire Overview

Super compact but feature packed the Canon XF405 is available to hire and featrures the same specification as the Canon XF400 with the addition of SDI and gen lock it records to 4K ultra HD to SDHC cards an entry level professional camera with hard buttons for pretty much every feature you may need whilst filming as apposed to having to dig through meus which is not ideal when trying to keep pace with the subject you are filming

Capable of filming true 4K footage up to 150MPBS at 50P

Learn More about the Canon XF405

Equipped with three manual lens rings that give you easy and precise control of the Iris, Focus and Zoom makes this camera perform in the same manner as larger broadcast video cameras and camcorders but if your not confodent taking control of everything manually then dont despair the full auto function will take control of all these settings for you so this professional camcorder will get you great footage no matter your skill set

Capable of being connected via an RJ45 connector there are numerous ways to get your footage transferred you can transfer directly for the memory cards, conection via a USB cable, across the RJ45 connector or even across Wi-Fi or FTP whilst your still filming

With advancements in low light filming you will find that there is more pickup in darker areas of the frame but watch out for any noise that may creep in saying that its our only gripe with this video camera and a small sacrifice to bear considering the complete package and this small annoyance wont be noticed in the majority of projects that you may need to record.

The main reason clients hire the Canon XF405 is for the ease of use when manually operating the camera via the 14 hard buttons which alow you to get the best results from your footage as you film most video cameras at this proce point have all the controls hidden in menus making adjustments whist filming near impossible and add to this the 50MPBS which allows the footage to be used by professional brodcasters and news channels

WATCH THE VIDEO

Learn More
Its a breeze to transfer your video footage from your hired video camera before you need to return it, all you need to do is connect the camera to your PC or MAC via a USB cable or if you have a card reader you can take the card from the video camera and insert it directly into your computer and you can copy all the footage over

An important point to bear in mind is ensure you copy everything over from thetop level of folders, for example dont just copy the actual video clips over, if you do not copy all the files over you can run into trouble when trying to play back or import the footage, the other files on the card will be the data files that your computer will need to access to make sense of the clips without this oimportant information you will be left with video that you may be unable to play

So be safe copy everything from the top folders across to your computer and you will be safe to return the video camera knowing you have everything you need to complete your video edit

See the entire process on the video and if you need a hand at any stage thats what we are here for so please reach out
