Our Shoot It / Film It Yourself Wedding DIY Video Hire Package gives you all the equipment you need to capture any wedding in glorious high definition using the latest technology hand picked to ensure your experience of capturing a wedding in video is simple and straightforward, remember if you have no experience then we are here to help with start up guides and tips and tricks to get you up and running straight away and if you find yourself having any problems then we are here to fall back on.
You get the equipment for five days so theres no pressure to start filming a wedding when you haven’t even worked out how to turn the video camera on and theres no mad panic to return the equipment straight away after the event.
The Sony MC50 thats included in our DIY Wedding package is a small hand held professional camcorder which records footage for up to six hours so you should have ample space on the camcorder without having to worry about storage capacity or downloading your video footage until after the wedding. You will find a handy camera top light included (either a circular LED ring light or square LED panel light) in the package which runs of AA batteries (not supplied) perfect for the last dance and a tripod for when you need a more stable shot or need to take a break but would like to keep recording.
A high capacity battery is provided in the package which you may need to charge once the camera is delivered, if you need the batteries pre charged then please advise us via email as during peak wedding season we may not have time to charge the batteries during turnaround.
We would like to think we’ve covered everything that you may need to know, you can see the guides and examples below and once you have booked your rental you will be sent a password and log in details so you can see all our on line training materials if you still feel you need pointing in the right direction.

Order Process
- Choose your wedding video camera hire package from the options available
- Select the date you need your wedding video package delivered and collected via the website
- Pay either a £20 deposit or pay for you order in full
- Thats it done
- You will receive an email confirmation once your order has processed and an email the day before delivery with everything you need to know about the delivery and collection times

Delivery & Collection of Equipment
- Delivery wise we ship all our equipment using overnight couriers so someone will need to be available to sign for the equipment in the one hour window you receive on the delivery date you chose we always deliver before midday on the delivery date.
- Collection is arranged for the collection date you have chosen and will be after midday you will receive an hours window from the courier, We provide a return label and security seal in with the equipment you must attach these for the return.
Getting Started
Once your wedding video camera has arrived you can get started quickly and easily as the video camera will take care of all the settings for you so you can focus on framing the best shots all you need to do is zoom in and out and hit the red record button.
Supplied in your wedding video package is a handy tripod perfect for recording the speeches and ceremony along with two batteries and a charger/ power supply all packed in a flight case for easy transportation.

Transferring your wedding footage
After the big day you can tranfer your wedding footage across to your computer simply connect the camera to your computer using the supplied USB cable and you will be able to copy everything across ready for editing.
